  ☐ Define your project needs and objectives.

This may take a few minutes or several months, depending on funding requirements

  ☐ Identify at least one potential reference site.

  ☐ Contact reference site owner, if applicable.

Up to 2 weeks, depending on responsiveness of reference site owner

  ☐ Meet with your new Clarity Environmental Project Manager. They’ll reach out to you via email once your sensors have been shipped.

~ 2 week turnaround time

  ☐ Finalize collocation selection and timeline.

~1 hour

  ☐ Schedule installation date. Note, this may require the reference site owner on-site.

Up to one month

  ☐ Deploy Clarity devices at the reference site.

~1 hour

  ☐ Let your Clarity Environmental Project Manager know once this step has been completed.

~5 minutes

  ☐ Your Environmental Project Manager will reach out to you once the predetermined collocation period has ended to confirm collocation is ready for calibration .

~1 month minimum

  ☐ Provide reference site data to your Clarity Project Manager, if data is not available via AirNow, EEA, or OpenAQ. 

Up to a month to receive reference data

  ☐ The Clarity Team will perform the calibration analysis for PM2.5 and share results via email. If needed, your Environmental Project Manager can meet virtually to walk through the results.

Up to one month

  ☐ Approve the calibration results.

  ☐ Your Environmental Project Manager will apply the calibration model to your data. You will now be able to view both raw and calibrated measurements via Clarity Dashboard and API on all measurements going forward.

  ☐ Calibrated devices are ready for network deployment.
