Troubleshooting the alarm when NO₂ readings are out of expected range

How to diagnose and resolve issues causing NO₂ concentration measurements out of the expected range.

This alarm indicates that at least 25% of the raw NO₂ sensor readings over the last three-hour period show concentrations out of the expected range (-500 to 500 ppb), which might indicate a sensor malfunction.

Fast temperature or relative humidity changes can affect the NO₂ electrochemical cell sensor's baseline. The resulting baseline swings may trigger this alarm temporarily.

Monitor the device behavior for 3 days to see if the alarm clears and the sensor returns to a stable baseline.

If the alarm persists, this might indicate an electrochemical cell failure and electrolyte leak and the device will most likely need to be replaced. Please contact our Support team to start this process.
