The Clarity Node-S is designed with a lithium-ion battery and a solar panel, making it ideal for off-grid deployments. With this setup, the Node-S can operate continuously outdoors without the need for manual recharging.
Under normal conditions, the battery and solar panel are optimized to ensure the Node-S can run indefinitely, as long as there is sufficient sunlight.
At the default sampling frequency, a fully charged Node-S can continue to operate for over 15 days even without sunlight. However, if you increase the sampling frequency, the battery will deplete more quickly, shortening the operational time without sunlight.
