      How do I turn on my Clarity Node-S?

      The Clarity Node-S will power on when either the solar panel cable or the AC adapter charging cable is plugged into the device body.

      Here’s how it works:

      • Using the Solar Panel: Simply connect the solar panel cable to the device body, and the Node-S will turn on.

      • Using the AC Adapter: Plug the charging cable into the device body and connect the AC adapter to a power outlet.

      When successfully powered up, the device will play the Power On sound and attempt to connect to Clarity Cloud.

      • If the Connection Failure sound plays, please confirm the device has been configured on Dashboard first (see this article).
      • If you hear a Low Battery sound, please charge the device for at least 24 hours before proceeding.
      • If the Connection Successful sound plays, the device will start uploading data.


      Note: The Node-S will power on as long as there is sufficient battery and a cable is plugged into the device body. To avoid draining the battery and collecting spurious data during storage, be sure to unplug the solar panel or charging cable when the device is not in use.
