If you’re encountering this issue, it’s likely that your Node-S has a very low battery. This can happen in a few situations, such as when:
- You’ve just received your Node-S, especially if it sat in its box for an extended period.
- You’ve redeployed your Node-S in the field after a period of inactivity.
When the Node-S powers up and emits two low-pitched beeps, it indicates a low battery level. The device won’t start uploading data until it has charged above a certain threshold and exits deep sleep mode.
What to Do:
- Charge your Node-S for at least 24 hours when you first receive or redeploy it to ensure it reaches an adequate charge level.
- Once fully charged and configured, you can monitor the battery percentage of your Node-S directly from your Clarity Dashboard (see Device Status page walkthrough).
