Why is my device not sampling as frequently as normal?

Understand how Clarity's automatic battery management system onboard works to ensure your devices last longer without intervention

The Clarity device is designed to regulate its own battery to preserve operations in the field as long as possible. As a result, the device has onboard battery management. When the battery drops to certain levels, the device will automatically decrease the sampling frequency, usually resulting in decreasing the sampling frequency by 50%. This decrease can be repeated multiple times if the battery drops ever further until the device enters sleep mode. In sleep mode, the device will be offline but once it received enough sunlight, the device will turn back online automatically.

For example, if the sampling frequency is every 15 min (default), this will drop to every 30 min. And if it continues to drop, it would drop to every 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, etc.
